Mark 10 Jesus says, "Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." (NIV)
Jesus shares that if we want to love God we must also love our neighbors. I find that there is no time I feel closer to God than serving other people. The people of New Covenant serve in a variety of ways: Bosnian Ministry & Food Pantry, tutoring in schools, service projects for youth and adults, helping organizations in St. Louis, mission trips & much more.
